Sales Representative – Job Description

CBD is making waves in the US market and as it grows, the pet care industry is adopting much of the consumer trends. This has seen an exponential rise in demand and availability of CBD products for pets to treat illnesses, improve their overall wellbeing and help with anxiety.

LinkResPet is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to promote and sell our products in the US, as a sole agent. We are looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects within the pet care retail sector – both online and brick and mortar.

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

At LinkResPet, we produce CBD products specifically tailored for cats, dogs and horses – keeping innovations and quality at the heart of everything we do. We recently launched our online shop on and deliver orders across the US and Canada.

This is commission based role with unlimited earning potential.


Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Continuously improve through feedback


Proven work experience (with at least 3 years) in a previous sales position, experience in pet care a strong advantage

Ability to build productive business professional relationships

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

BS/BA degree or equivalent

Contacts within the pet care retail industry a plus
